Tried to book a villa using PayPal as the payment option (valid option on their site) this continually failed, I messaged to ask if there was an issue and they said there wasn’t but they could take the payment over the phone. I declined as they probably don’t have a secure line. Anyway, managed to pay using a different method but didn’t receive the booking confirmation. Was told the payment was on hold but they got the villa supplier to hold the villa whilst the payment cleared. In this time I had to confirm to them on email how much the villa booking was so that they could make sure it was confirmed at that price. A few days later the booking was confirmed (great).
Fast forward to almost a week later when I received a call from Jack to say actually, they made a mistake with the price and now it was almost £1500 more than the agreed price.
Absolutely appalling. They then tell you that that price is still really good compared to what else you can get in the area. I can confirm that isn’t the case as we have now booked a much nicer villa for a lot less than this circus is trying to charge!!
