Lights finally arrived,after a very long wait,1 broken, many emails later, no response,I finally looked at the reviews of this company.

I want to warn all about LIGHTZY DO NOT TOUCH

Purchased over a thousand pounds worth of fittings. They are all gradually going wrong. Every time trying to get replacements is basically impossible. They are argue back as forwards and say the wiring is incorrect. However it is not as I am an electrician. They now say they are only guaranteed for SIX months. They want me to send £50 for replacement parts.Quality is poor and at a premium price. Disgraceful company. If it wasn’t so bad it would be funny.

Please can someone let me know ASAP that the order has been cancelled – and refunded? I have been chasing this but no luck and extremely concerned after seeing trust pilot reviews of the terrible service and items that arrived damaged or not at all. This seems to be a recurring theme for every customer. I am not willing to be one of them!!!

I paid £85 for a light fitting that I believed was a reasonable quality product shipped from a UK based company. It was only when I received a shipping email that I realised it was coming from China. The item has finally arrived with French instructions, and is made of very cheap plastic pieces which don’t fit together properly. The light needs to be professionally wired from scratch with pliers, a choc box etc. and the “gold” shades are marked and scratched. Appalling.

Whilst they could not supply the lights I required felt I needed to say that their customer service section dealt with my order cancellation and refund with speed and a very polite manner. I had read some less complimentary reviews regarding their customer service and needed to assure new customers that there is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. Couldn’t give 5 stars as I have not seen their products.

I order some so Called expensive wall lights for a good amount of money , after 6 months they have started rusting . Which defeats the object of it been an outside light . These were not cheap lights so would not expect them to do this. I have had no helpful reply from this company , just that’s it really get on with it

Bought a light fitting from these con artists, it arrived in a box that was totally battered, loads of different types of tape so obviously been sent back a number of times. Not what you expect when you spend £280.

This totally put me off so I decided I would return it, I didn’t even bother to unpack the pendant.

When trying to arrange the return, they don’t have a simple return procedure like all good reputable online business’s. They are trying to charge re stocking fee of 10% which is against distant selling laws and so far (8 days & many emails) still have mot provided the details of how and where to return the product.

Terrible service …… do not buy from here!!

Ordered 4 outdoor lights, arrived after 4 weeks and numerous emails, electrician came and lights are faulty…shame I didn’t read the reviews of this company first! Apparently lots of people have had problems not only with quality of the fittings but with customer service, returns and refunds! Don’t waste your money on cheap Chinese imports, shop local with a reputable company instead, lesson learned:(

Foreign company claiming to be UK based. They do not allow cancellations or refunds, parcel still received after 3 weeks! Absolute joke!!!!!

Please note this is not a UK Based company , false promises and very poor quality products and customer care. I am simply putting my purchase down to bad experience (thou it cost me £90.00 ) and would suggest anyone ordering from this company to note my warning. “Simply be warned “

After reading reviews on internetI was concerned about my order. How wrong I was, lights turned up in srurdy packaging. Lights themseves are good quality, not made of second class material at all. I am well pleased, would buy from them again

Bought 3 supposed outdoor strip lights that are meant to be waterproof and a qualified electrician refused to fit them due to them not being waterproof and creating the possibility of tripping my electric after a few months.stay well clear

we have had 2 LED pendant lights from LIghtzey that exploded, huge sum spent on emergency electrician and no refund, now no replies to emails

I bought 3 lights end of Jan 2023, they took an age to be delivered. Despite the company purporting to be from the UK, the goods are shipped from China. I bought from this company thinking I was supporting a local online business, and feel duped. Worse, two of the lights are faulty, one has stopped working entirely and the other flickers constantly when turned on. I did get an electrician out to fix the lights, as they were expensive and it did not occur to me that the lights were not fit for purpose. The electrician has advised the lights are not certified and are unsafe. I have requested The Lightzey send their certification on a number of occasions, and they never respond to my request. I am very worried I have unsafe lights installed in my home and given The Lightzey will not / cannot prove they are CE or certified for the UK I am now waiting for an electrician to remove them.

Very satisfied with my order from Lightzey! The website is very simple to navigate, there are a huge number of products in the webshop, but I was able to find what I was looking for very easily, in addition, the price was also very cheap which persuaded me to place an order. Delivery was hassle-free and fast. I am convinced!

my review on Lightzey may come a little late, as it is about the Christmas lights purchased. We have enjoyed these very much!
