    They don't have your back!
    Original Singulart sought me out and said my work was hand picked as a good choice for their site. The cost to me would be nothing except the 50 percent commission on any art sale. At first, it was an ideal match. Over the years I have sold work and have continued to add new work. I currently have over 500 works on their site in a variety if media which includes descriptions and details. Now as if July of ’24 they want to charge their artists for “membership subscriptions”. What use to be a free service will now cost me $149.99 /month plus 50 per cent commission! Are you kidding me ? After pouring endless hours of time and energy into my portfolio, they now say they will pull the plug on all current members that don’t comply to one of their mandatory subscriptions plans. With all the free artists sites out there such as Saatchi and others…they have some nerve exploiting artists in this manner. It’s a gutsy call all their part but one I think will be their undoing. If they care only about sucking all the $ they can out of the artists they represent, word will quickly get around that they don’t have the artists best interest in mind, only their own. Simply shameful!!
