Lycamobile is a provider of prepaid SIM cards. This means that you buy a SIM card that already has credit on it. You can then top up this credit when it is depleted. With Lycamobile it is cheaper to make international calls to other Lyca customers. Because of this they now have more than 15 million customers and are active in more than 20 different countries. Top up your SIM card directly via the website, or via the many shops and Lyca branches. There are several offers and if you are a new customer you can receive 5 euros free credit. Due to the success of the Lyca Mobile concept, the company has decided to expand into other sectors. For example, financial services. The company states on its website that it has a reliable and stable network, and that you are always cheap because of the different tariffs. Also, you are not tied to a contract, because of the prepaid principle. Calling from one Lyca customer to another Lyca customer is free.

Rating:10 Good connection and nice and cheap. I bought a SIM card from Lyca Mobile. Installing it was very simple and I could make calls immediately but the 4G internet did not work immediately. When I contacted customer service they gave me the solution, now my connection works fine.

I took out 2 SIMs with prepaid plans with Lyca, which included data, calls and texts.
However, in an emergency when I tried to make a call I instead had a message telling me there was no credit so I couldn’t make a call, the same then also happened with trying to send a text instead, I should have had both calls and texts. I tried to use mobile data only for this to also be apparently the same!
When I was finally able to check my account it showed as PAYG despite there being prepaid plans on both SIMS and the data plan I had taken out had also apparently halved in data from when it had been taken out.
A complaint email to customer service over ten days ago has only resulted in 2 absolutely pure nonsense responses, with very poor English and making no sense or any closer to an answer in any way as to what had happened to leave me stranded.
