Monbento

The French bento box company Monbento was founded in 2009 by Emilie Creuzieux and Fabien Marret. Bento boxes are traditional Japanese lunch boxes divided into several compartments. The online retailer offers those with extended functions. They are microwaveable, freezer and dishwasher safe and hermetically sealed. A rechargeable warmer for the lunch boxes is also on offer, which can heat them with the food, similar to a microwave. The range also includes drinking bottles and cutlery. Monbento pays attention to the sustainability and quality of the materials in addition to the product design during the production, which is stationed in France. Only reusable plastics are used, which are recyclable and produce less energy and CO2 emissions than glass.
