Ordered a Lofrans x1 windlass late August last year after my boat was up from the water.
The order did came but i did not open up the package to check all the parts!
Last weekend i mounted this brand new windlass and it was when i pulled in the chain i notise that they somehow sent me the wrong model.
I ordered a 6mm but a 8mm came,i contacted the company but they refuse to sort this out, they want me to first send back the 8mm before they send me the correct part!
Also i should stand for the postage in that regard!
Under the EU directive i have right to 2 years warranty, and this should be sorted out by the sender..
So if you don’t want to be scammed chose a different seller!
