    Extreme poor quality of Haute Florist
    Early this month (August), I ordered a bundle of flowers and birthday card for my wife in Brighton, UK. Haute Florist used Royal Mail to deliver. However, on my wife’s birthday, no flowers nor the card delivered to my hotel on the date. No email or SMS reminded me of what happened. In the evening, I checked with the hotel again and there was indeed no delivery.

    I made the complaint via emails in the following days, the replies were standard – saying that the delivery was attempted but not successful and there was eventually NO APOLOGY OR REFUND.

    I shall NEVER USE HAUTE FLORIST AGAIN. And I recommend everyone else NOT TO USE HAUTE FLORIST FOR IMPORTANT EVENTS !!! Unless you like to risk your happy moments, then please do so.

    My impression on Haute Florist: It is simply irresponsible (and close to a liar ! –I paid but got nothing but disappointment) I spend time to write this review to reflect my discontent and let people know the poor (not very low) quality of Haute Florist’s service. If there is a zero-star ranking, I will undoubtedly give it – not this one-star.

    Issue after issue…and still no resolution
    First time using Haute Flowers. Before ordering, I even checked with the team the size and upgraded to a medium because I wanted exactly what I saw in the photo on the website for Pretty Peonies & Stocks. No such luck. The bouquet received had peonies in a different colour and all the stocks were wilted, old and dying. It’s unfortunate I cannot upload photos here, because it would really put the site’s talk of ‘luxury’ bouquets in perspective.

    The customer service rep noted a ‘slight’ quality control issue and offered a measly £10 credit against a future purchase. After expressing my disappointment at both the bouquet and the offer, they agreed to replace it with a gift up to the value of the flowers, which is fair enough, but the overall impact of using their service has left me with less belief in their ‘artisan florists’ to order from here again.

    Update 09/07, after agreeing a replacement bouquet, the same as the one I ordered originally, today my mum received …a completely different bouquet of very simple cheap flowers, the kind you can easily find in the supermarket. Again the rep. sited ‘quality control issues’ and offered to send yet another bouquet. When I refused, she said she could only offer a partial refund of £10. This is a far cry from their 100% satisfaction guarantee.

    Avoid unless your happy to get less than what you paid for
    I ordered a medium bunch of Orion flowers (29 stems) as a gift and when they arrived with only 24 stems (less than a standard bunch which has 26 stems) I sent pictures and they will not refund the £5 difference between the standard and medium. Offered me a voucher. As if I’d ever be stupid enough to order from them again. The worst part was they wouldn’t accept the bird’s eye view picture of the bouquet in the wrapper and I had the get the person I gifted them to, to take a photo of them in a vase, alerting them to the fact I’d been ripped off by Haute. Customer services are useless. After calling and starting the conversation by enquiring about number of stems in each size bouquet and getting them to confirm numbers I then advised I’d already ordered and received only 24 stems and they pulled up the pictures and said they can confirm what I received is correct. The level of stupidity in this team is second to none. Flowers were nice and delivered on time but wouldn’t use again.

    Dismal, late and false advertising
    Falsely advertised that they were a locally based florist, resulting in a delivery date that could not be adhered to. The bouquet arrived and looked nothing like the image on the website, even accounting for buds yet to bloom, the bouquet was dismal. Customer service was dismissive and did not offer any adequate solutions.

    Two orders placed for Mothers Day costing £165. Neither order delivered and no explanation or apology given. Unacceptable service for that price

    Lillie's and roses
    I have just received some flowers from my son for Mothers day. Top 5.star mark for packing so they didn’t get damaged. The flowers I received were of high quality. Absolutely beautiful.

    Absolutely appalling
    Absolutely appalling….flowers delivered on time but they looked nothing like the £45 (plus postage) bouquet I ordered! Like others, if I could offer minus stars I would!
    They looked like a cheap supermarket bouquet, when I questioned what was sent I was told “Based on our assessment, we can confidently affirm that the bouquet meets the required standards in terms of size and quality”. It is terrible, save your money.
    Sadly, but fortunately for them, I cannot seem to add pictures! I will however do so in other reviews I make to ensure no one wastes there money like I did.

    The sad thing is, after many emails back and forth to this company they believe there is nothing wrong and have suggested I claim my money back through my card provider!

    Flowers not delivered, no refund & appalling customer service
    Potential customers should be informed about the negative feedback surrounding Haute Florist, as there are numerous complaints on this and other review platforms. My recent order, meant as a birthday gift, was not delivered. Haute Florist’s customer service has neither provided a refund nor taken responsibility for the failure to deliver the goods. Since I have not received the flowers I paid for, I cannot comment on their quality. I strongly recommend choosing a different florist.

    Avoid like the plague
    I ordered flowers for an important occasion based on a promise they’d be delivered on a certain day. I came home to find an email saying they were “awaiting information” from me. The email said I hadn’t filled in the recipient’s name or address – which was nonsense when the confirmation email from Haute (which is a front name for Prestige Flowers) contained both, showing that I had done so. I replied to ask what was going on. There was no explanation. The flowers didn’t come on the day specified. When I queried this, they told me that buried in the small print was an exclusion for much of the UK. I queried this but was told I’d ticked a box agreeing to it. No one reads Terms and Conditions, I said, pointing out that they hadn’t flagged this prominently when placing the order. After twelve (I’m not joking) emails in which the responses were sometimes so obtuse that I genuinely thought I was conversing with a not very intelligent AI, I was offered a phone call. When that came, I queried why I’d been told they were “awaiting information” I’d already given them, the excuse was it was automatically generated (irrelevant) then that it was from another part of the company (irrelevant) and eventually an admission as to what seems to be the true reason: They wanted to see if I’d pay more to add a message to the flowers, even though I’d consciously decided not to. I wasted so much time on this that I’ve taken the time to warn you about how they operate. At the end of it all, the woman on the phone apologised but refused any refund or other goodwill gesture. Avoid like the plague.

    Undelivered and pathetic customer service
    The order was never delivered and proved a great disappointment as these were for our wedding reception. This was at Nottingham.
    1. No one was contactable on the day to chase the non-delivery as it was Saturday, and the helpline was useless. This is amusing because while online purchases and seller services are available 24×7 (for their benefit), yet their helpline for helping customers is weekdays only, notwithstanding the delivery day which may as well be a weekend. Ruined our special day.

    2. To add insult to injury, customer care service was equally dire with no attempt at assistance nor any real reasoning as to why the product was not delivered. I was told that the florists liaise with a delivery company and are not responsible or answerable for their services. They reported a log stating delivery was attempted, however no one at the venue was able to corroborate this nor reported any delivery attempt. There was also no attempt made to contact us, our details having been provided, when said delivery was not possible to be made. I was also told I could have collected the flowers in the next few days at the shop- I had paid for a delivery on a specific date, a service that you could not provide, the customer care personnel was tone deaf and insensitive in suggesting that as though it was on me to collect a product that I had already paid for to be delivered for an occasion long past. I demanded a refund stating the above reasons, at which point the lady spoke to her senior but I was refused stating it did not “qualify” for this as delivery had allegedly been “attempted”, however they still would not take responsibility for a delivery partner’s actions or lack thereof. Laughable!

    Maybe this is how all company’s now are with no interest in customer satisfaction and lack of corporate responsibility. Only out to make the bucks. They should and will hopefully go out of business soon.

    Utterly embarrassing
    Please do not water your money you will be better gifting nettles to someone that ordering from them avoid at all cost. Customer service is awful as well

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
    Ordered flowers – next day delivery – they were never delivered.. heaven knows where they are now – and probably half dead. contacted the company to cancel order and ask for a refund. Company who had no interest whatsoever. PLEASE USE PROPER COMPANIES IF ORDERING FLOWERS

    v poor - do not use for special occasions
    I would have considerable reservations with using this company again, particularly for a special occasion on a particular day.
    Their postal company (royal mail) only gave a time range (7.30am-7.30pm!) that does not allow more specificity. However, they delivered a day later than promised, when we were out, and left outside door. As a result, flowers were not on good shape.
    Lastly, their response to my disappointment with this was wholly unsatisfactory.
    I would not use them again

    No flowers, no refund offered
    Mother’s Day flowers didn’t arrive. No emails from Haute or Royal Mail. Customer service (from Prestige Gifts) said it was my responsibility to chase up Royal Mail for flowers now packaged 2 days ago, presumably sitting in a depot – can’t actually contact Royal Mail. Beware the phoney reviews saying everything went well and customer service was great – you wouldn’t need to contact customer services unless something went wrong. Read between the lines and look for the similar genuine reviews like this one.
