Update 15th Jan: I don’t know if there’s a point me writing more now, as you’ve already decided if you’re risking using this ‘company’ or not. I emailed them to tell them I got the wrong item, next day they apologised at least, and said they’d check stock but could take a while (although it’s still available on site, ready to be delivered). I replied to ask how long as it’s in stock online and I’d already been waiting so long. Didn’t hear anything. Monday 12th I emailed again and the guy said he’d been ill and they were chasing up DPD (even though I was unaware they’d ‘sent’ a replacement). Later got another email saying ‘It is showing delivered to neighbours’ and an attached blank image showing nothing. I replied on 13th telling them that if I don’t receive the item by weekend I’ll be actioning a refund via credit card company. I still haven’t heard back yet.
Update 8th Jan: Yesterday the delivery arrived… but, they sent the wrong item! I was after a DDR4 motherboard, but they sent a DDR5 version. I can appreciate that the naming and markings of these boards aren’t the most obvious, but after waiting so long, this is beyond frustrating. I have all the other parts to build a PC except the mobo. I sent an email last night to both the addresses that I got a reply from before, but haven’t heard anything yet. Was hoping to build PC 1-2 weeks ago, and here I am still waiting. Back down to 2 stars.
Update 6th Jan: Yesterday I sent another email to 2 of their addresses asking for a refund if they don’t have the item. And I actually heard back that day with them apologising for delays and saying they had closed down over xmas/new year for 2 weeks, and have now shipped my item.
If this is the case I really think they could have communicated that more clearly on their website or the 3 order confirmation/invoice emails that I received day 1.
I have given them 1 extra star for now, and will see what happens when item arrives.
Original review: Ordered a motherboard on the 21st December, they took money straight away. Claimed 5-7 working days for delivery. yes, xmas and new year were during that so I waited patiently.
Their site says to allow an extra 2-3 days during busy periods, but I’d still not heard anything so I emailed them on Fri 2nd @1pm, because even if it was dispatched around then I might not get it for those extra 3 days.
Over 24 hours later and still not heard anything!
All my other pc parts from elsewhere (all ordered the same day or more recently – including a gpu from scan.co.uk that I bought yesterday via amazon and turned up today to my surprise) have arrived and this is the main part that they all rely on, and I’m in the dark.
I feel there’s been enough time for them to have dispatched or replied to me by now, and maybe they might see this and act on it.
Edit: reading other reviews now I can see many others have similar experiences of delayed shipping and only getting item dispatched once they complain on here.
