After receiving confirmation that the flowers would be delivered on Monday, 5 May, they failed to arrive. I did, however, receive a misleading “confirmation of delivery” text message, which was simply untrue. The flowers eventually arrived on Tuesday, 6 May, and only because the recipient notified me—not the company. Upon delivery, the flowers were in unacceptable condition: wilted, browning, and already dying. I was sent photographic evidence to confirm this.
When I contacted the company via WhatsApp, I was met with evasiveness. I repeatedly asked for the actual delivery date, but they dodged the question and continued providing only vague timestamps—what I believe was a deliberate attempt to obscure the truth. I was then told to email their complaints department, which I did promptly.
My email detailed several issues: the poor condition of the flowers, the deceptive delivery notification, the shoddy customer service, and the low-quality greeting card for which I was charged £3.50. The so-called “greeting card” consisted of a message that was printed, cut out, and taped onto a blank card—an amateurish and embarrassing presentation for what was meant to be a thoughtful gesture.
This was a £70 order. Far from inexpensive, and yet the quality and service fell below even the most basic expectations. Since then, I’ve been engaged in an exhausting and unproductive back-and-forth with their customer service team, who have offered nothing more than a replacement bouquet (now irrelevant) or store credit—neither of which is an acceptable resolution under the Consumer Rights Act.
In summary, this company has proven itself to be dishonest, disorganised, and entirely unprofessional. The combination of poor product quality, misleading communication, and dismissive customer service makes My Flowers a business to avoid at all costs.

I called the hotel and suggested they put the flowers in a communal area for all to enjoy. The hotel sent me a photo if them. They were absolutely, shockingly awful!! There were 2 tiny roses, 3 carnations and a small amount of foliage with a small white flower on. I have never been so embarrassed!! I wish I could upload a photo.

I paid the highest level of same day delivery fee and selected the earliest same day time slot. When I didn’t get a photo from them or call from my daughter, I realised that after I paid to place my order, they changed the delivery date to next day delivery. I reached out and they told me they o my offer same day in London and it was in the fine print somewhere despite their site claiming same day to the UK and their website allowing me to select and pay for same day after having entered the address. At this point it was too late to order from anywhere else and they only refunded me the shipping fee that they should have never collected to begin with.
The next day, I heard nothing from my daughter and didn’t get a picture. I reached out and was told something must have gone wrong with the picture but the flowers were delivered. They send me a picture of a royal mail box so clearly no local florist was used as promised. Unfortunately because they were in a box and delivered late, they sat in the package room overnight so one further day of delay.
On the third day, my daughter called. She showed me the flowers which were different from what I ordered and did not have the congratulatory balloon I paid for. She then asked why on earth I would send her chocolates as she was recently diagnosed as diabetic and I knew she was very upset about it. Made me look very bad. I told her I never ordered the chocolates. My Flower’s response was that they cannot ship balloons so they subbed chocolates. Also they had to sub flowers. What happened to the local florist?! Why offer balloons if you can’t accommodate. After much prodding, they offered a refund on the balloon. They said they had no way of knowing about her condition. I told them that they should have checked and not offered and charged for products they could not deliver.
They act like they did me a favour for refunding me for the items they didn’t deliver (expedited shipping and balloon). I was better off sending nothing to be honest.
In sum, total scam. You will be overcharged for a sub par bouquet not delivered by a local florist and receive terrible service to boot. I will be reporting this to my credit card.
