Founded in 2017 by Heine Toft Kristiansen and Kasper Juhl Rugholm, the Danish company sells articles for competitive athletes online, primarily for the European market, which are developed by Optima Sport itself. Kasper Juhl Rugholm is now the managing director. The core articles are the so-called Recovery Boots. These are specially made compression boots designed to stimulate blood circulation and relieve swelling and tension. The compression boots are supplied with a corresponding generator that can be used to regulate the pressure and type of compression.
