Efteling

De Efteling is an amusement park in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, and opened its doors in 1952 with just the fairytale forest. The park that originally had a target group of parents with children up to twelve years old, has developed into a theme park for all ages over the years. The park has more than 62 attractions including roller coasters and four dark rides. The fairy tale forest opened with 10 fairy tales, designed by Anton Pieck, a few years later, the first steam carousel was built. Every year, the Efteling attracts more than five million visitors. Tickets can easily be ordered via the Efteling website, and the customer service can also be contacted via the website or by telephone. Besides the amusement park, the Efteling also has an Efteling Hotel available so that visitors can stay overnight in the area for a multi-day visit to the amusement park.
