    Disappointed finish
    Arrived at EM airport and had no problem finding the car park. All went well until our return. 8pm and it’s dark. We drive up to the barrier and it doesn’t open. Reversed out and tried three times. Eventually we found the help button and the operative remotely opened the barrier for us. It wasn’t what we needed after a long flight. Have used you before and had no problems so have no idea what went wrong as other cars were going through OK.

    Meet and Greet T1
    I’ve used meet and greet at T1 a number of times over the years with no issues. Unfortunately on this occasion the experience on the return trip was not as good as previously.
    Manchester Airport has massively improved its game this year and it was a breeze departing and on return.
    We landed at midnight & by 0045 we’d gone through customs looking forward to being in our own bed within an hour. After collecting our car keys we followed the instructions and with 2 heavy cases traipsed across the car park to the designated area to find no sign of my car. I walked up & down the coloured areas to try & find my car to no avail. We had to go back to the reception, luggage in tow, to try & find a member of staff. After looking around for 5 or 10 minutes we found a lady who took us back to the designated area only to confirm our car wasn’t there. The lady was very helpful & walked up & down the car park eventually finding our car in a completely different area of the car park.
    A fairly minor inconvenience but not what you want at the end of a long, tiring day.

    Dissapointing Car Rental Experience
    I booked my car hire in Lisbon through Holiday Extras . On returning the vehicle I was charged for minor damage I did not cause . I would expect a booking agency to fully support my dispute which was unfortunately not forthcoming. The dispute is still on going.

    First time using this parking service. Easy to find, bus was regular, so didn’t wait too long, and the online booking service was great keeping us updated. Will definitely use it again.

    Meet & Greet - Superb from start to finish
    From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything worked superbly. Every member of staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Why waste time parking miles away, try for ages to find a space, and then wait for a bus to take you to the airport. You have just spent a fortune on your holiday so why not spend a few pounds more to make the experience at the start and finish so much easier?

    Fantastic
    We used the Portside parking meet and greet on 12/3 returning on 24/3, I was amazed at how quick and easy it all was, well marked and easy to find, staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

    Great hotel and really helpful staff
    The hotel was great as it’s obviously very new. The staff on arrival and throughout the evening were lovely and really helpful. There were however 2 downsides to our stay. The first was that I had booked and pre paid for a 2 course dinner for the 4 of us. We were told we were only allowed the equivalent of £22.50 per person which in the main didn’t even get us 1 course. The other was that my card was charged after we had left. I only noticed this by chance so when we came back from our break, I went to query it with the hotel. I said there was no way these charges were mine as they were incurred after we had left. It took some time for it to be resolved with the explanation that it was a system error. A refund was then processed. My concern was this could so easily happen and be overlooked when it was clearly money that shouldn’t have been taken. The 2 issues rather put a dampener on what was otherwise a really pleasant stay

    The shuttle needs to be more organised
    Honestly hotel was brilliant and clean and beds was comfortable
    Parking was tight but easy to find
    The shuttle to the airport was easy as they pick you up out side hotel but if you don’t save the number on the bus times and you have lost the paper they give you with details there is no way to contact and get help after 6pm after landing 11pm I resorted to ringing the hotel and they didn’t answer to help I had to pay 20£ in taxi to get back to hotel to collect car
    My fault for losing the slip with hours and time and number to find out where to go but no info online if you have lost it and no help from hotel when they don’t answer phones

    Great facility marred by selfish parking of a minority
    Easy to book and park and convenient walk to terminal building at LJLA. Not sure though why some people think it’s ok to park their cars in the spaces that form part of the walkway for pedestrians ie spaces clearly marked with white stripes – probably too lazy to walk as there were plenty of spaces further away from the entrance barriers. Had to manoeuvre suitcases onto road with oncoming traffic. Unsafe for elderly, infirm, prams etc Please enforce safe and considerate parking – otherwise an excellent facility at Liverpool.

    Cambridge Lodge Hotel
    We had a comfortble night stay at the Cambridge Lodge Hotel, Gatwick, where we left our car. The Cambridge Lodge minibus took us in the morning for our 9.00am flight.when we arrived back at Gatwick we were collected and driven back to the car at the Cambridge Lodge. Very easy, very convenient and inexpensive. We would use them again.
