    Panic
    The hotel was so close to the airport. Very dated but only needed it to sleep for the night. When coming back and leaving car park I was informed I would have to pay £255 for parking, which was meant to be in with this. Now thankfully an elderly gentleman saw me crying and panicking, which with a heart condition, isn’t good and sorted it all out for me. It was 2am and all I wanted was to go home!

    Check in was abysmal, organised chaos. No staff around to tell people where to queue or what to do. Stood in first queue only to print off labels for cases, then to be told to join another queue to put cases through where labels could have been printed by check in staff! The joined another queue for case to go onto the belt – it was a joke.

    Pre-booked to go into the lounge. Couldn’t order at the bar, had to do it via the app – which would have been ok except I had no signal once I got into airport and couldn’t connect with the wifi. And then, to top it off, we were lied to by staff that our flight had landed at gate 1 just so they could get our table as people were starting to arrive and there were no seats – absolutely appalling. We had 45 minutes left on our booking and had to leave – our flight was actually delayed and the information on the board wasn’t even saying to go to a gate – terrible to be lied to like that.

    Silver Zone Parking, Bristol Airport
    Booking process, parking and collection at end of holiday all good & straightforward. Shame that the price is going up so much each time.

    Great Hotel stay with carparking
    Everything went smoothly with my hotel and parking. I prefer to keep my keys so the stay at the Sheraton Heathrow was perfect. Lovely room, with comfy bed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Have booked this hotel before and will book again.

    Rename!
    Great location just adjacent to the terminal building at Liverpool John Lennon. However the Meet and Greet should be renamed to Drop and go! We didn’t see a single person so the meet and greet element was completely missing. Fortunately having used the Drop and go previously at Manchester we knew what to do but a first timer might struggle.

    Good
    I stayed the night at the Sheraton Sky Line hotel near Heathrow airport. The car was left at the hotel while on holiday. I would have preferred to have the hotel hold my car keys so that if my bag with the keys in went missing then I could at least get home. Hotel was old fashioned with dark wood furnishing which made the bedroom dark. Very dim lighting, Could do with a bright light as difficult to see what I was doing in the bedroom. Spacious bed with nice white clean linen. Good sound proofing as runway was across the road. Disappointed with restaurants. Only a choice of one in a bar with loud music playing or an Indian. I chose an Indian as I needed to talk to my daughter who was with me. It was very nice and had to hope the spices did not affect my stomach on the 9 hour flight. They didn’t. Overall the hotel could do with a face lift but is comfortable and I would stay there again.

    Fraudulent scam
    I booked a package of parking with a hotel room before my holiday flight. I booked direct through Manchester Airport website. One night stay before my flight and 7 days parking. The advertisement said Hotel and Parking at Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Manchester Airport. It specifically said “a 4 minute walk from hotel to terminal 2.

    I arrived at the hotel, parked my car and reception at Hotel told me to park my car 7 miles away, in Carrington, in the middle of know where and get a bus back to the Hotel!

    A huge argument began inside the hotel Infront of many guests where the manager tried to claim I was in the wrong somehow.

    What happens is; you book this deal if hotel and car park, you pay for it, it confirms it, then forces you into downloading an app, this app, and then tells you your parking miles away from the hotel in a field.

    This company, this app, This hotel is deceiving people and tricking people into false bookings. The male receptionist informed me this happens daily, multiple times throughout the day, people being mislead. Holiday extras are a scam. The hotel let me park at the Double tree Hilton, after 20 minutes of me standing my ground. Never book with this company. Nor the Hotel. An absolute disgrace overall.

    Holiday transfer
    Excellent service from Alicante airport and back after a ten night holiday, however the transport was a half hour late for pick-up, but I still had plenty of time for check in. Very cheap and comfortable trip both ways, will not hesitate to book with them again. Thanks

    Car didn’t show up. Sent a car and only just got my flight. Just got an email from Holiday extras saying welcome home. I’m not back yet ?
