    Good parking but Holidays Extra not so good
    We booked Cophall Parking and a nights stay in Sofitel. The parking experience was pretty good except there is a long term road closure near to the car park. We were not notified of this by HE and ended up driving round various country lanes and having to call the car park for directions – they were most helpful. The road closure information is clear on the car park website but sadly HE did not pass the information to us. Fortunately we were only going to the hotel and not trying to catch a flight that evening.
    The bus to the hotel (north terminal) was ok but the driver didn’t ask which terminal we needed until we got to the south where the bus filled with people returning from holidays, trapping us and our luggage. Many of them had to get off at north terminal to free us!
    We then had to find our way to Sofitel which wasn’t particularly clear. The hotel was fine but we were only there to sleep the night as we had an early morning flight. Easy walk from hotel to departures.
    The return journey was easy and we only had to wait a few minutes at the bus stop.
    The car was waiting just outside the reception building. The only issue was the exit barrier did not go up automatically and it was a struggle to press the help button
    All in all a good option for an early morning flight when you live 3 hours drive away from Gatwick

    Feeling let down by Holiday Extras
    No issue with Purple Parking everything was okay, could do with more regular service to terminals as lots of people waiting and could not get on waited 15 minutes for bus.

    The issue is paid for parking many weeks before travelling at cost nearly £120 then the price dropped to £78.00 and applied for a refund of the difference and turned down because not in the first 24 hours.

    Used Holiday Extras for years but will think about re-booking with them again

    Quick and Easy
    Very easy to book online, easy to make amendments when necessary, easy to find, and buses yo the terminal were regular, quick, clean and efficient, will use them again

    Good Service
    Always use this service for T2 no issues at all, park car walk over to departures and leave your keys, came back scanned receipt retrieved keys and on our way home, staff always on hand to assist.

    Meet and greet
    A very good service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We arrived at 6.30 pm after a delayed flight and the staff gave us very good directions to the hotel where we were staying

    Great car park but feel 'ripped off' by holiday extras
    I have used number 1 car park many times over the years using several different providers and even though it is more expensive it is the best location for departures. I paid Holiday Extras ‘extra’ for late flight cover as it seemed a reasonable option, A few days before my flight with TUI they e mailed me saying that due to possible long queues through security at peak periods, we should arrive 3 hours before our flight instead of the normal 2. I logged back into my booking with Holiday Extras to move my time forward by ONE HOUR and they charged me £50.28. I felt like I had been mugged by a common thief and I will never consider using them again, even for a quote.

    Always a stress free experience at East Midlands
    We use Holiday Extras again and again for car parking at the air port – everything is so easy from the initial booking right through to being dropped off back at the car park on your return. Excellent service every time.

    So quick and easy
    This is the second time we have used this service and it works perfectly. You arrive, park and are straight in the departures. Returning, you call, and the car is there waiting to drive home. No waiting for shuttle buses in the cold. Excellent!

    Car parking experience
    When we arrived, we found a car parking space, we then had no clue as to where we were to go. We saw a bus stop in the distance with a bus at it. We had two 20kg cases and a 10kg hand luggage, we were having to drag the cases across gravel which wasn’t easy, we then got on the footpath through the parking lanes, this was muddy and gravel again, shoes, cases and clothes covered in white mud. Eventually got to the bus stop, had to wait 20 minutes for a bus.
    On way home waited 40 minutes at midnight for a bus to turn up, no idea which bus stop to get off the bus in the car park, once again had to drag cases across gravel and muddy paths to find car.
    Definitely will not use Jet Parks Ringway again.

    Perfect Parking
    Arrived and entered car park and no problem finding a space next to a bus stop and remembered stop number,waited only a few minutes for the bus to take us T2.
    On return the bus stop right outside T2 and only waited a few minutes then off to our stop in the park and off home without hitch.
    Perfect.

    Hassle free parking
    Parking was hassle free. Pulled up in the drop off bays,dropped off keys, got on the bus and in reverse on the return.
    Great value for money and will definitely use again.
