Booked midstay parking and transfers via Holiday Extras. All updates via the App were clear and helpful. Our drivers contacted us via WhatsApp to ensure smooth pick ups both ways. On arrival i realised that it was Maple Parking that Holiday epExtras was using which i would not of booked out of choice.
The milage was 49397.4 with 391 miles left in the fuel tank and the gauge just below full. On our return on 24th July the milage was 49403.2 with 351 miles left in the fuel tank and the gauge just above the 3/4 tank mark.
i can accept that the car was driven 5.8 miles to be parked off site and returned but cannot accept that the car has used 40 miles in doing so and the fuel gauga is visibly lower than when the vehicle was parked. I have a good idea as to how this has happened as i can get live vehicle locations on my phone app and the vehicle was parked in two different places during the 2 weeks period, one being on what appeared to be a farm area.
An explanation from Holiday Extras would be good or i will not be using Holiday Extras for anything again.

There was also nothing on the holiday extras site about any sort of transport to Heathrow. I had to find this out separately. I would have thought most people booking a hotel would want to know what transport was available.

Arrived and entered by car number plate recognition at Dublin airport. Directed to parking space only a few metres from a bus stop. Picked up after 3minutes and dropped at terminal. Similar service on return with not too long to wait for bus at the terminal.

The Car park is well lit and is within easy reach of the terminal by a ramp and flat ground.
However, since the introduction of number plate recognition we do have difficulty accessing the car park as our number is a personal plate DS9094 and we have to contact the customer assistance to open the barrier.
This did not previously happen before number plate recognition and staff are always polite even at 5am.
We understand this is an ongoing technical problem and does not prevent us from future bookings.
