Number of reviews: 1 Rating:2 Company are no help . were staying in a villa in Lanzarote then decided to book another week but unfortunately the company we booked the first villa didn’t have any availability, so tried HOLIDU and found that the villa next door to us was available, we thought how lucky we were only having to move next door (BIG MISTAKE) so booked it, then the day before we were due to move into it, I heard some men in the property saying to each other, well we are going to have to replace it I told him it was irreparable, so I popped my head over the wall to be met with a swimming pool full of GREEN water, when I asked them why the pool was green the man told me the pump had gone and they were going to have to replace it, I asked how long it would take to be safe to use and he said about 3-4 days so I told him we were suppost to be moving into it the following day, them the man said O its you who is moving in tomorrow. I went inside to tell my husband and after confirming this with the work men, he phoned Holidu to explain the situation and told them we didn’t want to move into it as we would not be able to use the pool and requested a refund. they told use there was nothing they could do as the owner had been paid and to contact the owner direct through email. We email him and told him the situation he said the pool would be clear in a few days but as we explained we booked a villa with a pool from him for a week and didnt see why we would be without a pool for any amount of them days, he them offered us £70 for the inconvenience which was disgusting considering we had payed£1200 for the week. We declined his offer and said we would not be going into his villa and requested he refunded our money. We never heared from him again even though we sent him a lot more emails. We then got back in touch with the company Holidu to ask for the owners name and address to pursue it further once we got home, but they would not give us anything. they sould not be allowed to trade as a holiday company, this is peoples hard earned cash and holiday they are messing with. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMANY IF YOU WANT YOUR HOLIDAY,HEALTH AND MONEY TO BE SAFE.
