On arrival late at night, alone, the agent claimed my card wouldn’t work to block the deposit—despite me showing I had enough credit. My bank (Halifax) later confirmed no attempt was made.

Rating:2 Kep your money This platform is a complete scam. Two hours prior in Italy, I selected a vehicle on their platform and went to the respective rental company. Orbit then informed me that the rental company had not confirmed the booking and instead offered me a completely different car from a different company. The alternative was for a car available half an hour later and entirely different from my original selection. I refused the offer, but, for some reason, they did not refund the 90 Euros I paid for the original booking.

Rating:2 Avoid this car rental company! I would not recommend this company at all! Our flight was delayed meaning we could not pick up the car until the following day. I called the car rental company to inform them as soon as our airline had booked us on a flight for the following day. No answer from the phone, I called another customer service number, which had a voice message saying to leave a message, but it wasn’t possible! I also emailed the 24/7 customer service to inform them that we had been delayed and would require the car the following day. I got no answer to that either. We arrived at the airport the following day to find there was no car for us. No cars at all with the provider. We were forced to make a last minute booking at 3 time the original cost with another car rental company in the airport. I wrote four times to the customer service and have never received any replies. I also wrote on their website but again no replies. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this company

I was pressured into paying £160 instead, for their insurance. Orbit refused to escalate, despite clear evidence the issue wasn’t on my side.
As a solo female traveller, I felt cornered and misled. Be cautious—Orbit won’t support you if something goes wrong abroad.
Orbit have refused to escalate or investigate further, despite this clear discrepancy. Their customer service repeatedly fell back on the agency’s explanation, even though my bank confirmed there was no technical issue on my side.
If you’re thinking of using this service, be aware that you may not be supported if things go wrong. I travel often and have used this card for 20+ years—this is the first time I’ve encountered anything like this.
