I am highly disappointed with the hotel deal you gave us. This Bahia city hotel is a £13 a night hostel type accommodation with and I stress a very very poor and unsanitary environment. Everything is wrong with Travel Odeal’s Morocco package. Where do I start???….
You charged me £40pp for Breakfast (That’s £80!!!!) when in fact there was NO BREAKFAST but some tasteless olives , bread , butter and plum tomatoes. There was no continental breakfast and you charged me £40 pp when in fact it’s worth £1.20 and this is a fact!!! £1.20????????
No where in Agadir cost more than £20 for 2 people to dine at high value restaurants…So, before I continue, I want you to refund my money for “Breakfast” as it was non existent!!!
This Bahia City hotel is a very well known hotel for Prostitution and criminal activities, you put us at risk at a cheap hotel without care about our safety. There were prostitution activities going on as we sat in the lobby where there’s the only WIFI zone in the whole hotel. People constantly begging for money and made us very uncomfortable…It turned out to be very deceitful and unacceptable on every level what Travel Odeal did for the sake of money.
The rooms had no telephone in case of emergencies so we could not communicate with hotel staff at all, no heating so we were freezing and unable to rest properly at night. BED BUGS!!!!!!!
The lifts had no sensors meaning the door shuts regardless of physical intervention and the door shut on my partner causing pain to her arms and back, the hallways are dark as lights don’t work, the toilet is black and filthy and not cleaned, the taps are rusting, you can see into next door bathroom through our bathroom vice versa, railings falling off the walls, dust is everywhere and causing allergies and discomfort, The bathroom is mould ridden from ceiling to floor with blocked drains, shower head 🚿 is brown and mouldy.
It took a while to realise why people looked at us strangely when we mentioned the Bahia City hotel. I am expressing my dissatisfaction and frustration with Travel Odeal tricking unsuspecting tourist by placing them in such accommodation for a to good to be true deal in 2024.
Surely, This cannot continue and you will not keep robbing customers with misleading information because you want to make money. BOOK BETTER HOTELS and deliver EXACTLY what you as a decent human will expect from a vacation but I guess it’s all about the money for you Deric. So here we have 2 options…
No.1 .. You could not care less but I am going to post this review on every platform related to Travel Odeal including posting pictures and videos and also on all our social media platforms (YouTube,Tick tok etc) of my horrible experience. I’ve already contacted popular social media outlets who I am affiliated with who will spread this information very quickly to a vast amount of recipients.People will be warned! Unfortunately you already have very bad reviews which was discovered after we arrived and realised what was really going on so fortunately for us, we have very good solicitors who will advise the next step to take this matter further.
No 2. You refund my “Breakfast” money asap, I will walk away and try forget about the disgusting mattresses and unchanged bedsheets at this hotel. I have all the photos. You have 24hrs to refund my breakfast money and give me a good reason why myself and my legal team shouldn’t shut down Travel Odeal for good and I mean I’m really angry as I’m writing this email at 6am when I should be resting on my vacation but it’s virtually impossible. You will not get away with putting peoples lives at risk for sake of your profits. People will see this and avoid Travel Odeal. ITS WRONG!!!!

This will be a long review, and I understand if you cannot be bothered to read this in its entirety, but please do not ever book anything with Travelodeal and don’t make the same mistakes I did. If I could give them a minus 5 star rating I would!
Having seen an Iceland trip for an unbelievable price advertised by Travelodeal I rang them in March 2023 to book a once in a lifetime trip for my 40th birthday. As the saying goes if it is too good to be true, it probably is and my word was it.
The booking process was a nightmare, the price increased over and over again throughout the call as the operator added extras that you would think would be included in the price of the holiday and then persuaded me to book extra trips that, in hindsight would have been cheaper to book direct with the tour operators. Despite my reservations I still went ahead with the booking.
I was given my flight times and all information at that point and paid the deposit.
I was then emailed in June 2023 and informed my return flight had been brought forward by two hours. No problem at this stage. However, ten days before I was due to travel Travelodeal emailed me a full itinerary for the trip and informed me that my flight home was now at the original time I booked in March 2023. This flight time was repeated three times throughout this itinerary and, thinking nothing of it, I travelled to Iceland.
Upon arrival at the airport I was unable to locate the bus company Travelodeal has booked us onto. This caused a bit of a mini panic as we had no idea how to get to our hotel. Luckily the local bus company employee took pity on us and allowed us to tag along on one of their buses for free.
So, we enjoyed the holiday, and then it came time to come home.
As all the information we had at our disposal said our flight home was at 2030hrs we arranged our return airport transfer to get there by 1830hrs. En route to the airport I checked online to see if the flight had been delayed as it was snowing. The panic then set in as I realised that the plane was on the runway, on the last passenger call, and was leaving imminently with us some 30mins from the airport. The flight times hadn’t changed back and Travelodeal had given us the incorrect timings!
We missed the flight, spent the night in a freezing cold airport, and had to book alternative flights for the next morning at a cost of over £400.
What was Travelodeal‘s response when I called them? Sorry pal it is all your own fault, complain to EasyJet because we’re just the agent. How is it EasyJet’s fault?!
Whilst I accept some responsibility for not having checked my flight times with the airline I also feel that Travelodeal, having sent me the incorrect flight times ten days before my holiday, shouls shouldr a large proportion of the blame upon themselves.
Following an official complaint I finally got a call back from a representative of Travelodeal almost a month, later who, after talking over me repeatedly and refusing to listen to the points I was raising, kindly informed me that it was indeed all my fault, that Travelodeal would accept no responsibility for their errors and that they would give me no compensation. I argued this and was offered £60. I refused this and was then offered a final offer of £70, which I also refused as it is a bloody insult!
To add insult to injury Travelodeal have still not refunded me for a trip I booked that was cancelled three times. It’s over a month since I requested this!
I have now escalated my complaint to ABTA and await their response. In the meantime I am making it my life’s mission to leave as many scathing reviews about Travelodeal, on as many sites as I can find, in an attempt to prevent other travellers booking with this joke of a travel company. BBC Watchdog on the one show confirmed their scam with the wowcher holidays, pressure selling and scare tactics to customers to overcharge them. I was a fool and got pressurised into finalising the mystery holiday and paying extra. I did not want to have to communicate with this company after the booking as I was effected negatively so another member of the party tried communicating with Travelodeal but they continued to refuse to speak to her or ignore her. When I have emailed I have just had emails trying to manipulate the situation. Do not use this company to book, it would be far cheaper and easier to do it by yourself.

**New update. We have been promised a refund and then told that it was processed. The money should be with us by now. We are being called up by the travel agent who is asking us to take down the review as it looks bad on them. This review isn’t unfair at all. If anything it is just a very passive truthful retelling of the facts. Still no refund, our money must be somewhere, and this company is refusing to return it & stringing us along.
Since putting up this review on another sire, an agent from travelodeal called my partner (the main booker for the holiday) & pretended to tell her about the cancelled flights as if none of this ever happened. He then lied saying that he hadn’t spoken to me earlier that day about a refund.. which he then backtracked on. Awful company.
Well.. where to start? I have had two experiences with Travel Odeal, one earlier this year was a 4* experience and similar to the bulk of reviews here. However the latest experience is nothing short of a scam.
We had booked a mystery holiday through Wowcher, Traveodeal are the company that deal with these. We’re supposed to be going to Portugal in a few weeks but about a month ago I noticed that our flights had been cancelled.. not communication from travelodeal, they just hoped we wouldn’t notice I suppose. It’s caused a major inconvenience as our time off work is booked, the airport hotel is booked, the parking is booked all for those specific flights. Things happen, of course, but they’ve made no attempts to contact us to inform us about it or offer alternatives. I called up and after being on hold for an age the person I got through to initially tried to deny that the flights had been cancelled, although it was on the WizzAir website in front of me, they then told me that I would receive a call back from our specific agent in 48 hours. 2 weeks past and I didn’t hear a thing. Called back this morning and another, seemingly more helpful agent said that a refund for the entire holiday could be processed and that I would receive and email within 2 hours. You guessed it. No email. So I called back again. Another agent answered. He attempted to offer us different flights. We just want a refund. This has been a terrible experience. He says he’ll speak to a colleague and come back to us. I expect to be put on hold. He ends the call. I ring straight back and he just attempts to get me off the phone. Now apparently he is going to email me confirmation of the refund. But I’m still waiting.
The phone operators read from a script, they have set lies to say like ‘we”ll email you’ ‘you”ll receive a call back’ ‘ the appropriate agent isnt in’ just to get you off of the phone. It is impossible to have any sort of constructive conversation, get answers or make complaints. Really really disappointed.
Don’t be fooled by their cheap deals, it isn’t worth the risk. Maybe it’ll be okay, or maybe you’ll get scammed.
Overall I do believe TravelOdeal to be ‘legitimate’, but they are incompetent, unreliable, rude and risky. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Our flights were changed numerous times. Our return was to be non-stop and the last change was with a stopover in Chicago, with an impossible connection. We were assured all hotels were 4 star. Hotel in Paris was not and although the London Hotel was 4 star, it was in such a bad area we could not walk outside. A 4 star should be in a safe neighborhood. The travel agent never inquired as to our our sleeping preferences and booked us in one bed. Prior to our trip we noticed the error and advised the travel agent. The travel agent never advised the hotels of the error. We requested that a fair adjustment be offered to us.
