In 2020, Daniel and Shane started HyGYM to keep gyms open during the global pandemic and to support mental health. Originally, they did this by providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the gyms. However, they quickly saw that the spread of Covid-19 would close the gyms in the UK for some time, so they adjusted their mission. The aim became to deliver affordable and high-quality home gym equipment throughout the UK. That way, people could still remain physically and mentally healthy. Over time, the demand for equipment continued to rise and the business grew into one of the leading suppliers of home gym equipment. They kept improving their products based on the customers’ feedback and are now able to offer next-day delivery and a click and collect service. The products they offer are for strength and conditioning, CrossFit and weightlifting. For instance, a multi-gym squat rack, a power weight bench, gym flooring, kettlebells and foam rollers.
