Number of reviews: 10 Rating:10 Really impressed with the tracking Really impressed with how accurate the tracking is! For example if you’re doing a squat and don’t go low enough, it will tell me to go lower, and the trainer will even say it to me through the mirror! I’m new to fitness and struggle to motivate myself to workout so this is just want I needed. I’ve been working out at least 3 times per week since I bought the mirror and have canceled my gym membership (which I never used to use).

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 TRULY AWFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I placed an order on Monday 20th November 2023 and, after radio silence, I emailed on 30th November and asked for an update. I was advised that my order was shipping that same day, and that I would receive tracking information by the end of the day. The first of many lies, and the start of many emails back-and-forth.

Sometimes the mirror doesn’t reflect my own workouts but all in all a really great investment and hope reliability and longevity is robust.

Rating:10 Life upgrade ⭐️ I love working out and going gym but it was getting harder and harder to fit it into my schedule and regular home workouts (Youtube etc.) never motivated me to do it at home. With MAGIC I can use any free time I have to fit in a proper workout, without having to worry about driving to the gym. The variety of workouts is so big that it’s even made me try some stuff I wouldn’t usually do. I’m a big fan of weight training, which has been amazing with the stackable weights, but I even find myself ending my day with some yoga and stretches. It also doesn’t hurt that the mirror looks gorgeous, I’ve managed to build a little home gym with MAGIC and I work out more than ever before.

Now I can get a quick workout in, in the comfort of my home in my spare time. Really impressed with the form tracking too, it’s really accurate and definitely helps improve my form.

This was compounded by the poor customer service I received any time I reached out to enquire about timeline or updates. I appreciate you’re a small team and were probably inundated by the same questions but 78 days is not acceptable, especially for a £1k luxury item. The responses were blunt, patronising, and predictably always someone’s else fault.
Furthermore, the “gesture of goodwill” (a £20 massage gun from Amazon) was probably more insulting than helpful. Especially now that I see you’ve stuck your logo on them and are attempting to sell them for £100 on your website!?
Now… onto the product itself. It’s glitchy! I’ve installed all of the updates but it just feels a lot like generation 1 software that I’m a guinea pig for. I appreciate this sweeping statement isn’t helpful, so here are some examples…
– it constantly mixes up left and right. Not helped by the fact the instructor is often doing it with the opposite limb they’re telling you to use.
– double counting movements – especially on the Bulgarian split squat. Update: This is actually really bad, unusable so.
– if the room is too bright or too dark, it has trouble detecting you. Goldilock environment is very much needed.
– has trouble picking up certain movements… bent over rows and squats especially.
– random movements get picked up as reps… touching your nose, scratching your leg, picking up your weights type of thing.
– often says to make sure feet are in view, which requires standing back, which has a noticeable impact on its ability to detect movements.
Glitches aside, either I’ve been unlucky with my workout choices, or a relatively large number of workouts aren’t tracked and you have to just monitor it yourself – akin to watching a very expensive YouTube video.
Then we have content – lots of it but it’s quite repetitive, with the same movements done by different people (potentially recording in their own homes if sound quality is anything to go by). The star attraction appears to be Alistair Cooke, promoting the cricketer body everyone wants.
There was messaging back when I bought the product (a long time ago now) that suggested yoga and dance themed workouts would be available – this appealed more to me as it would also encourage family use… but there is no sign of this on the device.
If content does get updated, I have no idea what or where it is. You just had an endless scroll of repetitive-looking thumbnails and descriptions to decipher.
Finally, there’s messaging on the website to suggest Magic Fit will introduce subscription fees for (premium) content. Trust me, your product and current content are not good enough to squeeze another revenue stream out of your poor customers.
The device has a lot of potential but it just seems to be not quite there yet in terms of mass adoption of home usage. It’s a bit of a gimmick that you would see in showrooms or exhibitions, not for actual daily use.

I’ve finally regained my fitness after years of void post covid!! The technology is out of this world – its like I have my own personal trainer in my room! Very motivating and when I’m not working out, it’s a stylish mirror that gets lots of compliments from my friends!

On 25th January, still without my order, I asked for my order to be cancelled. It wasn’t.
On 24th February, I asked for my order to be cancelled a second time. Another reply with another excuse.
On 25th February, I asked for my order to be cancelled a third time.
On 26th February, I received an automatic email – My order had been cancelled, and I would receive a refund in 3-5 working days. I thought this was the end of the fiasco.
16 days later, and I still haven’t had a refund! Truly, this is the worst company I have ever experienced. I’m sick and tired of emailing – They’re quick to reply, but with more excuses, more lies, and no resolution.
I placed my order 114 days ago, and I haven’t had the product or the refund. I would never recommend MAGIC.
All I want is my money back, and I’m now going through Trading Standards.
