Established in Whitby since 1979, Robert & Victoria is renowned for its jewellery using locally sourced Whitby Jet and other global gemstones such as Baltic Amber and Derbyshire Blue John. Located on Sandgate, this independent, family-run jeweller offers a wide range of handcrafted pieces in a variety of metals including sterling silver, gold and platinum. Collections vary widely in style, from the delicate Blossom and Bloom ranges to the more symbolic Celtic and Gothic lines. Not limited to Whitby Jet, Robert & Victoria incorporate a variety of gemstones from around the world into their designs, offering a broad aesthetic. In addition, while the boutique offers a wide range of off-the-peg items, they also offer a bespoke design service for a more personalised jewellery experience. Both in-store and online shopping experiences showcase the diverse range of rings, earrings, pendants and more, connecting Whitby’s rich geological and artisanal traditions to a wider audience.
