Trip.com Issued Fake Tickets, Blocked /expensive Refunds
Trip.com turned our milestone family trip into a disaster. They issued 4 tickets to Zimbabwe—none were valid. One had a duplicated name, making it unusable. Qatar Airways confirmed it could be corrected, but Trip.com refused. Airline references were untraceable, and OTPs were sent to an unknown email.

When we tried to cancel within 48 hours, Trip.com stalled us repeatedly. Then—just two minutes after the deadline expired—they refused the refund and said we’d now be charged to cancel.
I’ve filed Section 75 claims and escalated to the Financial Ombudsman. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid Trip.com at all costs.
