Now credit where it’s due. Holiday Extras deployed Abbie to deal with it. She was courteous, polite and got on with it, (after I contacted again). after admitting that I had not engaged the contract and had no benefit she offered me a partial refund. That is, the cost of the lounge, and I’m surprised that they act as agent for something so poor, and not refunding the cost of their confirmation text, so those who know me know that generally I don’t mind fair loss to myself but this kind of injury upon insult does not sit well with me.
They then pulled a stunt after I refused their offer they sent the partial refund seeking to force the situation. Totally unacceptable bullying.
Would I recommend them? No. Not when they behave like that. I’ve sent their partial refund back. These are not the extras I want for my holiday

Small hiccup on our return, a message came through on the app saying our driver had arrived, but could not see the vehicle. A link was provided to call the driver, who said he was on his way and on time. I think my action based on the app upset our driver, but I don’t think he understood when I tried to apologise.

I have booked through HE again, this time to another hotel but word of warning if you are going down in two cars DONT TICK “ANOTHER ROOM REQUIRED”. I did this but this does not allow for another car so I had to cancel the booking (for which I got the equivalent vouchers – full value) and then had to make two separate bookings
