    Mattress
    Came in again this time for a mattress went to Leanne who served me last time as she was very helpful last time . didn’t get the mattress I saw on line but got a nicer one. Thanks Leanne for all your help again I’ll be back again I’m sure if I need anything else

    Avoid at all cost!! Terrible quality! You don’t deserve the one star.
    DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! READ THE ONE STAR REVIEWS AND BELIEVE THEM. TRUST ME THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS WILL BE ABOUT THE SALES TEAM, NOT THE PRODUCTS OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

    Bought both a bed and a sofa from here only to find problems with both almost immediately. The bed was not connected together on one side so kept coming apart. I was offered either a replacement base, or £40 to fix the issue myself. I chose the replacement, because why should I start drilling holes to connect the two pieces of bed…an employee came round and asked would I be happy if he just fixed the bracket, as that’s all I wanted to happen I said yes. Whilst he was here he checked the sofa which had already begun creaking after less than a month of having it. He said it hadn’t been made properly and didn’t have the correct padding. He said he would ask for a replacement to be ordered straight away. I then waited two months to receive my new sofa only to be told when I chased it that there was nothing wrong with the sofa and one wasn’t being ordered for me as suggested by the employee that came round. This is really underhand. Telling me that the sofa was faulty and a new one would be ordered and then being told that this hasn’t happened and there is nothing wrong with it. I spend £3000 in this shop only to have two faulty products. I will never buy from them again and will continue to tell anyone who wants to listen just how appalling my experience with them has been. All except the sales staff who I might add are a credit to the company and really belong working for a much more reputable business!

    Thief
    Brought a £2500 sofa because we were told it could fit in our townhouse living room (first floor). For it is delivered and couldn’t get it up the stairs. Now customer service has said it is our fault and I cannot return it. Great!
    But funny how if I ordered it online you can return it back within 14 days. DONT SHOP HERE!!

    I do not recommend
    I ordered a £1200 bed on January 8th in the contract delivery time is 10-14 days. I got home and I was called to tell me that they didn’t have the mattress and that it would take a maximum of 2 weeks beyond the deadline, it was February 15th and I still didn’t get the bed. Their answer is that I will receive it on February 29. Serious? Do I buy a bed at the beginning of January to get it at the end of February? I do not recommend the most unprofessional.

    Ottoman Bedframe & Mattress
    I was served very well by Lucy at the Birstall branch on both occasions she was helpful and knowledgable. Firstly when I ordered the Ottoman bed and then a couple of weeks later I returned to add a mattress to the order, both times a pleasant, stress free experience. I am not a person who enjoys shopping of any kind so dread it when I need to buy furniture items as they are expensive and am always wary that things can and do go wrong and I have had first hand experience of that more than once in the past.

    I was told that there would be approx 10 – 12 weeks wait which I was happy with.

    I was contacted after approx 10 weeks with a delivery date which I could not achieve as I was booked for a holiday so we re-arranged this for a month later as it was Christmas & New Year holidays in between this time.

    The delivery was booked for a 10 hour time slot and I was contacted about an hour before delivery to be advised they were on their way and would be with me within the hour traffic permitting of course. They arrived on time and I had already advised that I was in a duplex flat on my delivery notes so there are four flights of stairs to my front door and another flight of stairs to by bedrooms they were expecting it so was not a problem.
    They assembled the bed and showed me it open, took photos and left me the operating instructions so that I could read after they had left. The only thing missing I guess is any information regarding the mattress (whether it needs turning and how often) so I will call the store to request this information.
    Everything went smoothly for me and I must say that had I read the previous reviews I would not have ordered from NCF as there have been a lot of problems that I feel should have been resolved and I would not have been happy if this had been my experience for sure!
    I hope therefore that things have improved or I just happened to have a good experience to date.

    Customer service a DISASTER
    My storey started with order nrom3641 from the day I have received my ottoman bed frame. I was contacted by the driver at 7:30 in the morning advising that he will deliver the order in the next 30 minutes, because I was unable in the last minute to be at home, I agree with NCF customer service to receive the delivery on the same day but in afternoon, it was on Wednesday 15th November, and the drivers expressed they unpleasantly of wasting time for the installation due to morning reorganisation although I wasn’t informed in advance the delivery time, only 30 minutes before, feeling bad because I could not receive the order in the morning, I offered if thy would accept the help to install the bed myself (it wasn’t a request) in order to save some time for them, also I was last delivery for them.
    Because I worked very late that week, I was able to start instalation on Saturday afternoon and after unpack I realised that from the order is missing couple of components including the instalation guide. Beside that, it was some damages, scratches and all 4 legs they did not tighten, one did not even thread to the frame wich I have reported next day on Sunday in store from where I have place the order. The store assistance from Rugby was extremely helpful, just amazing, although beside given instruction, printing the instalation guide, and put me in contact with customer service, unfortunately they are unable to help more.

    Checking the guide, I found exactly what was missing, I have send pictures and videos to customer service Michelle, after back and forth, I end up blaming me to create that damages and scratches.
    The missing parts that I was unable to finish instalation I was waiting 3 weeks to receive by post, when I received I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I only received 4 screws and the installation guide, many more screws and fabric handle still missing.
    They invoke a rule of 3 days of reporting any damages, because I received the bed on Wednesday and report the issues on Sunday they said that after 3 days they couldn’t do anything. I asked if this is 3 working days or normal days, Never reply to that question.

    For everyone keep in minde to check everything in the first day no matter what or how busy you are that period. And do not offer any compasion or basically human being as you will end up in miserable situation and they will use everything against you, treating you as a garbage in your own money.

    I am unable to use the bed and still waiting to receive the missing parts. Trying to contact them by phone, after 60 minutes of waiting someone to answer I was disconnected.

    Regarding the legs damages, other damages and scratches, they refuse to stand behind they product.

    Verry interesting that customer have only 3 days of reporting but company can do whatever they like, I am on week 4 of waiting for his order to be delivered all components, and yet nothig from customer service.

    Spending over £3 000 in store, treated like a garbage, honestly I regret to be nice or considerable with delivery guys.

    Hopefully this experience to be very helpful for others. For me is a learning lesson

    Horrific courier
    Unfortunately, even though the gentleman that sold the furniture was amazing that was the only positive.
    The courier that they use are horrific!!!! They were told that it was up one flight of stairs and that there would be a dog on the premises, who was put in a separate room for delivery time, everything was written in the email and I was assured that it would be delivered, put together and all packaging taken away.
    This however did not happen, they showed up and refused to come into the property as apparently the guy had asthma. They then tried to get me to sign and take the item away with them.
    I have tried to resolve this by speaking to the courier, who told me to contact ncf, they then emailed me to say that nothing can be done as they are allowed to refuse to go in if they think its a health and safety risk!!!!
    Apparently they contacted their boss and ncf while outside my house, but not once did they make a phone call.

    Shocking
    Bed/mattress faulty from the day it was delivered, emailed many times, it’s been 3 weeks now, still nothing. How have I spent so much on a bed for it to be delivered in such a terrible way.
    The stitching from the mattress is undone it 6-7 places with pulls too.
    The bed didn’t close the pistons didn’t work, had to buy new ones. And you can feel through the fabric of the bed where you put the screws in that they’ve made a mistake, the car bowed the bed out so had to take that off. Absolutely shocking

    Worst customer service and overall buying experience
    I ordered a corner sofa along with coffee table in month of July. At the time of order , there was a cream colour sofa which was in stock but I opted for a grey colour for which i was asked to wait for 3 months. I waited for 3 months and was surprised to see them deliver cream colour sofa and they did not deliver coffee table. They took the sofa back and promised me to deliver grey colour sofa along with coffee table. After 2 days ,they came again only with sofa (no coffee table). They were in hurry to assemble and just told me that some one from customer care would contact. They assemble in such a unprofessional way that two legs of sofa chair are hanging in air. They have a support number which simply asks us to write a email for which i never saw a response. I had a very terrible experience ,infarct still having. I went to Bristol shop and the person simply told me that he cant help me out as he has already sold the item. Person who sold does not care as he has already got money and we cant reach out customer service. I don’t know what will be the quality of product. I am having very little hope on that aspect .

    Damaged goods received
    Delivered damaged goods and then won’t do anything about it. This company are not interested once they have your money. Wooden Bench arrived with a chip in it, reported immediately but they won’t do anything about it.

    Abysmal after sale
    I ordered a bed in July and was informed delivery will be in 6 weeks. I reached out about 6 weeks later and was told the bed will be delivered in October. I received yet another mail now saying it will be delivered in November and there will be a 50 percent cancellation charge. Its unfortunate that one is held to ransome by this ridiculous 50 percent charge and you’re expected to wait endlessly for your item to be delivered. I have had to sleep on the floor for months with my knee pain and lower back pain and I think this is so unfair! How do they keep in doing this! So if they choose to deliver next year, I’m still expected to wait? Never again ncf, never again

    1. Bought new sofa. Sales staff very helpful and delivered on time. This is where it all went wrong. Sofa has unmatched legs ( but delivery guys managed to fit at back so we couldn’t see). Then after 2 hrs after it had gone dark under artificial light we noticed a mark on the chaise cushion. ( no one had even sat on it at this point) took photo immediately and contacted customer services the next morning. Initially very helpful, ( Michelle) told us they would contact the supplier and come back to us. Over 10 days later get a reply that as we hadn’t put on delivery note that it was faulty they they would do nothing further. ( we didn’t put on delivery note as we only noticed under artificial light a bit later as we had already told them). Asked if i could raise further up and was given an address to write to ( obviously designed to obstruct and put people off chasing further) I will not be fobbed of like this. I’ll update this review on receipt of a response to my letter.
