As this company was linked to the Moneysupermarket site, I believed it was a safe option.
My phone was placed in a leather case the moment I bought it and was in excellent condition. I even had all the original packaging kept in the loft – so pristine. I knew the battery was suspect as I needed to charge it often.

I had taken photos of phone as suggested and it was sent packed well in the original box with no damage to screen not even light scratches.

Then they asked for proof of postage, which I sent immediately. And again — radio silence. I had to chase them yet again on 13th October, and only then did they finally admit fault and promise to pay the £150 insurance fee.
Guess what? They went back on that promise too.
So not only did they lose my phone, they ignored me for months, made me do all the chasing, and then lied about compensating me. This has been a complete nightmare. Their customer service is non-existent, their accountability is zero, and their word means nothing.
Avoid this company at all costs. I wouldn’t trust them with a paperclip, let alone a phone.

When I contacted customer service, they changed the date and told me to wait even longer — now claiming payment won’t be made until the 31st of October. This is completely unacceptable and misleading, especially after I was repeatedly reassured that payment would be processed within the original timeframe.
The lack of communication, delayed payments, and moving of deadlines make this company appear unreliable and unprofessional. I’ve had to chase them multiple times, and the experience has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
If a business promises payment within a specific period, it should honour that commitment. I will not be using UR.co.uk again and have escalated this to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice.

Terrible experience – misleading and unprofessional and phone not received back
I tried to sold my iPhone 13 128GB (86% battery health, perfect condition, barely used as a second device at home). The initial valuation was £278, which I found fair.
However, once they received the phone, the offer suddenly dropped to £125, mentioning un existent damages and scratches with no clear explanation. After raising a complaint, the offer was revised first to £150, then to £215. I didn’t accept yet, and instead asked for further clarification — but instead of answering, they simply sent the phone back without any response (september 2nd). In addition as of today september 5th my device cannot be tracked yet with Royal mail and the whereabouts are unknown.
This was a completely non-transparent and unprofessional process. I felt misled and ignored. If you’re expecting a fair and honest transaction, look elsewhere.

They, as expected, lowballed the amount they offered for the devices even though they were kept in cases and covers since purchase. After a back and forward and them upping the offer slightly, I accepted.
However, after numerous calls and emails and being fobbed off with excuses, this morning I had the misfortune to speak to service representative Jodie TheLiar.
I had received emails from Jodie TheLiar previously detailing payment was being processed. It is now well beyond the 7 day guaranteed payment window. I am left without items or payment.
After Jodie TheLiar having just slammed the phone down after asking to speak to her manager or a complaints department, I just spoke to Wendy TheBuckpasser. Wendy detailed ‘theres nothing I can do”, it has been escalated to the payment team which are an external company!
So, we have a team comprising of Jodie TheLiar, Wendy TheBuckPasser, MattTheBlameshifter who emailed days ago explaining payment would be made.
Very disappointed, especially as this company was recommended by Martin Lewis.
Update- Lucy contacted following my negative reviews on their social media posts and payment was made immediately. Lucy is a credit to this awful company and has a bright future in customer services. I only wish id spoken to her a week ago and saved myself 3 hours of calls and multiple emails.
Poor experience with this company, having to chase payment and dealing with the very rude Jodie was not a pleasant experience. Not recommended and if you must use this company, ask to speak to Lucy, she’s the only one with the ability to make payment it appears.
