How the manager of this company sleeps at night, I’ll never know. They ripped me off for 300 quid, after I sent an email asking for confirmation that my pet would be covered with a stated medical condition (before I purchased the insurance). They answered ‘yes’ in writing, so I have paid £48 a month for the last six months. When the time came to claim my money back, I’m told that in the policy my pet is NOT covered! After some investigation, I’d realised that I hadn’t even been sent a policy! Now after claiming, I’m told no money would be paid back to me as her medical condition is not covered!!! What? I’m going to the financial ombudsman as they have clearly ripped me off. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR INSURANCE.

Slow; but cover is excellent
Insured our dog which has a pre-existing condition (heart problem) which then got worst which meant tests and scans. Our dog is now on regular medication. K9 have been great through out, covered all the costs and we have felt supported throughout.

My sister has our joint beagle on this insurance and they are awful ! Will be cancelling immediately

Avoid this company at all costs!
The worst service I have ever received. Submitted a claim 3 weeks ago and still not heard a thing back. Sent several emails but no response received. They do not man their phone, it is just an answer service where you leave a message but they do not respond to these messages either.

Yes they can be slow in responding to claims but they do get there in the end!
