ReduceMyExcess.co.uk specialises in stand-alone car hire excess insurance, providing an alternative solution to the more expensive excess waivers usually offered by car hire companies. The company’s aim is to reduce the cost burden associated with hiring a vehicle by ensuring that customers avoid hefty excess charges in the event of an accident. Car rental companies often include collision damage waiver (CDW), theft and third party insurance in their contracts. Although these benefits mean that the hirer is only liable up to the excess, these excess charges can sometimes be higher than expected. If a customer incurs an excess charge as a result of damage to their rented vehicle, a claim can be made through the company, potentially resulting in a full refund of the excess. Although it’s not a legal requirement to have Excess Insurance when hiring a car, it can provide significant peace of mind. It protects renters from unforeseen expenses while travelling and ensures that any accidental damage to their rental car won’t spoil their travel experience. ReduceMyExcess policies cover a wide range of situations including damage to tyres, windscreen, undercarriage and even misfuelling. It also offers provisions for towing costs and protection against theft of personal belongings from the rental vehicle. An added benefit is the ability to extend cover to family members or additional drivers, providing greater flexibility to suit the renter’s needs.

I have supplied all the requested documentation and reduce-my-access did their job by refunding full ammount (minus non-sterling transaction fee of £9.60) withing 2 weeks. so happy. thank you guys. will recommend you to even more friends and family now, that I have actually used claim process and can justify that it actually works 🙂
